If you own a domain, sooner or later you may get a scary message saying it is about to expire or be taken. Many are simply sales tricks.

A common one looks like an invoice, but is an offer to transfer your domain to another company at a high price.

Another claims that someone in another country wants to register your brand name, and that you must buy several extensions today.

Check the real expiry date yourself in our free domain search, and renew only through your registrar's own website.

Never share your transfer code or registrar password over a call or message. If you are unsure, ask your provider before you pay.
